Raisa was born to both parents in Los Angeles. Irlanda Almendarez and Italia Almendarez. Her initial name, Francia, is Italian which means France. Italia Italia, which is the Italian name used for Italy is as well Irlanda. Virginia Almendarez, her mother, is from Mexican origin as is Renan has Honduran roots.
